Tema Sistemi was founded in Italy in 1990 operating in the security and fire-fighting sector. During the first years it deals with installation in the field of active fire protection.

In 1998 Tema Sistemi creates a specialized department of naval, hydraulic and electrical engineering and starts to produce its own fire fighting systems including components.

From a small local reality, the company has transformed into a national and international reference point for the fire-fighting market, becoming a joint stock company.

Tema Sistemi S.p.A. invests more and more resources in testing, obtaining certifications, complying with national and international standards such as UNI, EN, NFPA, RINAMIL, FM, PED, TPED, VDS, BS, BOSEC, CEI-IEC, ATEX, MED, IM also adapting to the GOST standard for Russian market.

Within 5 years Tema Sistemi S.p.A. inaugurates its new offices in Rome, Milan and Turin and the new headquarter in Nigeria to closely support the Oil & Gas sector.

Tema Sistemi S.p.A. looks to the future by putting new projects of experimentation and research in the pipeline, aiming at increasingly high performance and eco-sustainable products. It creates partnerships with universities and companies in the sector and conducts research in areas never explored before.

Tema Sistemi wins the SMAU award for its scientific research project for the protection of cultural heritage. It looks to the future by setting up new experimentation and research projects, aiming at incrisingly high-performance and eco-sustainable products.

Concludes the research project dedicated to fire protection of cultural property and launches the new project for fire protection of tunnels.
